Adoption

Adoption is a picture of our Father’s love for His children, taking us from the mess of being orphans, to the miracle of being Sons and Daughters of the Living God. Like our adopted children, we don’t shed our orphan mentality instantaneously, and the process of learning to trust our Father’s heart helps all of us with our “attachment disorder.” We want to encourage families to take in the many fatherless children both in the US and abroad, either through formal adoption or through other ways of reaching out to the “least of these.” In our neighborhoods there are struggling single moms, children in foster care, and abroad there are children in orphanages in need of homes. Pure religion before our Father includes caring for these children, and even a cup of cold water given to one in Jesus name will be rewarded.
