Why We Love Jesus

Without Him and His blood shed on the cross for us, we would be trapped in our messes for all eternity, without a future or a hope. His crazy, miraculous love has captured our hearts and set us free from sin and set us on a new course that leads straight to the heart of God and His Kingdom. He calls us to come to Him, all the burdened and heavy laden ones, and He will give us rest. That rest comes first through the forgiveness of our sins through His sacrifice for us on the cross. But that’s just the beginning! We can then rest in His perfect, unchanging love for us. The closer He draws us to His heart, the freer we are to love Him back and love our fellow messed-up travelers here below as we experience His miracles together.

Too many in the body of Christ are going through the motions of religion, without the reality of a living relationship with the God of the universe. God incarnate, Jesus Christ, is passionately in love with us. Many hunger to know Him, and to know other believers in Him intimately. Yet the shame of their own messes prohibits them from dropping the masks and “getting real”. We want to encourage you to risk reality and break through any religious boxes that are keeping you from being the real you who God created you to be walk freely in His deep love for you.
